Today also begins the first in a series of posts on guest rooms. This week, we'll have a Q&A with designer Christopher Lowell, products from QVC and a host of other ideas.
We're staying at The Wit Hotel, a Hilton property, here in Chicago. The suites are a great example of what I want the guestroom to look/feel like in Bimini.
From the workspace to the comfy pillows and the modern white, blue and orange color scheme to the luxurious spa bathroom, I feel like every need has been thought of in advance.
Oh...and the warm cookies at check-in are pretty fab, too :)
Some pics (Special thanks to TheLavish.com for some of these pics as they are a better photographer than me!)
The modern color scheme is an exclamation point on the lavish AND comfortable guest suite at The Wit. Every guestroom should have an extra place to sit and the orange chair is the perfect spot. |
I love the extra touches like this "Sweet Dreams" pillow. I'm all for whimsy :) |
The workspace in the room is well-equipped and reminds me that I still am looking for a writing desk of my own for the guest room |
The Guest Bath defines pure luxury. I love the glass tiles- I hope Keith does, too! |
